Every year, TrustLaw receives and reviews hundreds of legal questions from our NGOs and social entrepreneurs around the world, connecting these organizations with pro bono legal advisors. Based on our experience, TrustLaw has developed this Legal Health Check to help NGOs and social enterprises identify legal issues relevant to their organisation and identify issues for which legal advice may be needed. To help lawyers remind their clients to check their legal health, LAWPRO has created the annual Legal Health Check (Word or PDF format). The resources target people at risk of homelessness and emphasize that these individuals often have multiple and overlapping legal needs. Just as a visit to a doctor or financial advisor provides an opportunity to identify problems and assess physical or financial health, a conversation with a lawyer can help improve clients` handling of existing or potential legal issues.
