I bought a complete exhaust for my Yamaha XSR125. The exhaust was well packaged. The quality looks good, but with some disappointments. The original exhaust is one piece, including the muffler. Just like you can choose the ending, it should be a 2-piece, but no, it most likely ends up with 3 pieces, so it fits in the box. So an additional seal for sealing, tightening etc. The end box is well made, but the welds on the pipe are not up to date. The one on the head flange hardly seems to be there, happy that it has a 2-year warranty. Was sent quickly and instructions clear and concise. Since there are only 125 improvements, they will not be massive.
It seems to be more impatient and a pleasant sound from the 300mm stainless steel oval box. It won`t rust like the original, which is only 11 months old, so that`s a bonus. I ordered a slippery exhaust for a BMW F700GS, which arrived the next day, extremely well packaged. All necessary parts, including exhaust gas sealants. Easy to assemble, no leaks, looks great, sounds good even with or without removable deflector. I can`t comment on the shelf life after having it for a week, but at the price where you could buy two compared to an equally expensive alternative. I had one on my previous ZX10-R and was happy with it, so when I bought my current toy, I asked the store (Daytona in Ruislip) to mount one instead of having the standard exhaust. At around £250 for a full system that is legal for the road, and a bit stronger, I think it`s great value for money. This will probably be good for a road bike.
However, De-cat will be noisy. It is worth focusing on noise levels and whether you can adjust them, for example, with a deflector (also a one- or multi-stage deflector). For example, I have three noise level options for my exhaust: no deflector, large impact output, small deflector outlet. No quarrel is too strong! Big Baffle Outlet is ideal for normal use and Small Baffle Outlet is for quiet environments, i.e. many days of track or touring abroad. I ordered 2 exhausts from these guys now a complete system for my cbr600fy and more recently an end box for my VFR800 perfectly adjusted both times the cbr system was almost a year on the bike and still looked great (until the bike was stolen and set on fire). The exhaust systems are excellently priced and sound good and fit both times perfectly. Absolutely awesome.
The hardest part of the job was removing the storage system. The new exhaust fits like a glove, looks amazing, sounds fantastic and at a very reasonable price. I decided to attach a Toro end box to my bike because I wanted the shorter look of the system. I couldn`t be happier!! Does anyone have experience with Black Widow exhaust systems? They seem pretty cheap (£300 – £400), but maybe enough to arous suspicion. Other major brands such as SC Project and Akrapovic are between £800 and £1100. I just bought and mounted black silencers equipped with Twin Carbon on my tdm900, the silencers seem to be of good quality, but the connecting pipes are terribly too big on the side of the downspout and too small on the side of the silencer. These cans are in no way sold as road approval in the UK !!! My tdm now looks like a Harley Drag Racer! Removed, they are a total scam. I bought a gsx650f with a Black Widow exhaust, it was missing the deflector, too strong for me so I ordered one and it arrived the next day, arrived with nice little extra stickers and a lanyard and some very simple instructions thank you guys good service.
These are the biggest wastes of money, sbc about 430 hp, put on 250 poison and now my car Ilike my exhaust falls apart, $ 130 each, $ 260 plus installation, nowhere in the description it is said that these have like no silencer at all, drive through the city, the sound they drop makes me destroy my car, I have a super nice Chevrolet 11 Nova 63 and these just downgraded my car, the biggest waste of, From what I`m looking for is a black widow for newer vehicles and motorcycles, no review at all. Too expensive and sounds like, I even talked to the Black Widow technician and his description was completely different from the sound I personally get Loud as. It`s a full exhaust, it doesn`t have a deflector Always useful, I bought a Decat and an exhaust and it was a bit too noisy, they offer an inline deflector that fits downstairs I just ordered, always fast delivery with extras As I`m going to get stuck with my MT-07 until I get away from London, due to insurance fees, I thought I would make a few more upgrades. The standard exhaust is basically silent. I can`t recommend this company highly enough. The best ratings for customer service and the best ratings for product quality. If you need an exhaust for your bike, these are the guys you can talk to. I have the same thing and I can confirm that it is strong but it sounds fantastic. I was one of those guys who made fun of everyone who left an exhaust bubble in it, but after starting the black widow with her, I didn`t feel like trying it with the deflector lol. It`s pretty tame when you keep it below 4k rpm, but screaming about it He also screams a family who makes a bike stop and covers their ears while I was driving, told me it wasn`t just me who couldn`t stand it.
I use earplugs while driving, so it was bearable. But what made me realize how noisy it was when an earplug fell in the middle of the ride. I had a headache with 2 minutes. I ordered downspouts for my 2020 BMW S1000RR K67 so far I`m very happy, juice ordered another one for my 2020 Kawasaki versys 1000, good company excellent quality Strong enough to make my head vibrate when my friend drives next to me lol he removed the deflector. The support is terribly poor. I ask to speak to technical support, and then the phone company tells me I can do it.
It`s a bit like a Catherine Tate sketch. A joke. But if you`re stuck with a technical problem, it`s a waste of time and not funny. The receptionist is actually as far as you get on the phone. She even gave me bad advice. It`s not their fault, it`s the lazy vision (or helpless attitude towards) customer service taken by management. At a second glance, it looks like it will be ridiculously noisy to ask your profile to access Trustpilot`s free business tools and connect with customers. Anyone can write a Trustpilot review. People who write reviews have the property to edit or delete them at any time, and they are displayed as long as an account is active. 200mm is damn strong, ridiculously strong.
The 300mm are much more bearable. I had both. I just mounted round 230mm CARBON GP silencers on the Blackbird. Excellent appearance and sound, also a great weight gain compared to standard bazookas. Really easy to assemble took about an hour. I was skeptical for a while if I did the right thing, but when I watch and listen to them today, I can honestly say that they trigger joy. 🙂 The De-Cat exhaust system adapts to the specifications of Yamaha UK MT-07 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Models MT-07 Moto Cage 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 I try to make the bike more pleasant and be a little stronger, but I don`t want it to be boringly noisy. I also like the idea of a de-cat system for the cleaner look, not massively disturbed by weight loss, but that`s fine, I guess? On the other hand, maybe getting rid of the cat is a bit shitty? I ordered their 230mm stainless steel oval silencer and it was delivered from the UK to Ireland in 2 days, well impressed.
Welds in build quality etc. seem to be very good and it sounds good. I can`t go wrong for the money I highly recommend it, thank you Black Widow a happy customer! 🙂 I would say that a certain system on the other hand would be a little louder and good in the boringly noisy part of the spectrum, there is only a symbolic silent element and no mention of removable baffles. Verification can help real people write reviews about real companies. I have a GP 230mm style. It`s STRONG, even with a chicane. Businesses can request reviews via automatic invitations. The sound quality was very mehh, even though it was loud. Look, it was mehh. Tb sounds much better with the deflector inside and out. Earplugs still needed. If it`s too strong, you can always put on a deflector and cotton to calm it down a bit.
