Complaints against legal professionals are handled by the provincial offices of the Legal Practice Council, depending on where the lawyer works. The Council of Legal Practice is a statutory national body established under section 4 of the Legal Practice Act No. 28 of 2014. The Council of Legal Practice and its provincial councils regulate the affairs of all legal professionals (lawyers and lawyers) and trainee lawyers and exercise their powers.
